Last week in “The Days of our Nine Lives,” Jake from State Farm introduced himself, and London, the newest cat, was telling the others he wouldn’t be there for long.
Jake: So, London, why do you think you won’t be here for long?
London: Just look at me! I’m beautiful, and I’m so friendly that everyone who meets me falls in love. My forever family is bound to scoop me up in no
time.
Jake: Well, if those are the requirements for getting adopted, I should be gone just as quickly!
Pepper: (enters the cattery) Oh, geeze! Mutual admiration society meeting!!
Jake: So, who are you?
Pepper: The name is Pepper, and being confident and not too needy is my game.
Sadie: (sneaking into the room) Then that makes two of us, Pepper.
Jake: Wow! You look a lot like Pepper.
Sadie: True, but we’re two very different cats. I’m rather shy and demure (wink, wink).
London: You know who else won’t be here long? Skye. I must admit he is crazy handsome, with that long, silky hair and Maine Coon face. He’s finally agreed to pose for a photo this week. Once that gets out, his list of fans will grow overnight.
Jake: That reminds me. I must talk to my agent about setting up my fan club. Olivia, the kitten, already has her Facebook page. I gotta get caught up!
Will Jake from State Farm get his fan club started? Will Skye pose for the paparazzi?
