Last week in “The Days of our Nine Lives,” the cats were talking about how quickly the ARF dogs seem to get adopted.

Olivia: You might want to sit down for this one.

Bobbie: What news do you have now? It’d better be good. I have to go groom myself.

Olivia: Coco, the little Chihuahua, has left us for a forever family.

Pepper: Aaarrgghh. Another dog with a forever family, but not even one of us gorgeous felines?

Bobbie: I just don’t get it. Look at me. I’m fabulous. I love humans. Can’t they see this?

Olivia: And what about me? I’m freaking adorable. I’m playful, I love other cats and I’m even OK with dogs.

MJ: Enough, already. You all have each other, but now I’m the only ARF dog. I really need to be with a forever family, especially one with another little dog.

Pepper: I getcha, MJ. We all want to be with forever families. We just have to be patient, kinda like a human will have to be with me.

MJ: I dream of a forever Mom who will put me into her purse and carry me around. I’m small enough.

Bobbie: I’d rather have a human who wants to pet me and let me be queen of the castle.

MJ: I hope this isn’t a stupid question, but I have to ask. How do we meet a forever family? I know Coco met hers because of her photo in the Town Crier, but how pepperelse can it happen?

Bobbie: Well, humans can visit us here at the ARF House on the weekends, or they can call ARF and leave a message, saying they’d like to meet us during the week.

How long will MJ continue to be the only ARF dog? Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “The Days of our Nine Lives “each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy. 243, Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M-F by calling 951-659-1122.
