Idyllwild’s own organic and health-centric emporium, Sky Island Natural Foods, is hosting a health fair.
Owner Michael Wangler urged residents, “Come to Sky Island to meet local health and wellness practitioners from a wide variety of disciplines. Enjoy networking, bodywork, massage, health testing, lifestyle coaching and free samples classes in yoga, martial arts and more.”
In addition to the above, practitioners of acupuncture, ayurveda and energy medicine will be available to talk with attendees.
The fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Sky Island, 54423 Village Center Dr., in the Strawberry Plaza shopping center.
Wangler said private offerings of health service will be provided in the back patio area on a complimentary or donation basis. The first 100 people in the door also will receive a free organic reusable shopping bag. Throughout the day, there will be raffles for hundreds of dollars in prizes.
