Jim Billman, president of the Idyllwild Water District’s board of directors, has resigned effective Monday, Sept 12.
The board has not indicated what steps it will take to choose a replacement for Billman.
He was appointed to the board in 2005 to complete the term of a director who resigned. In August 2007, he was elected to his first four-year term and subsequently re-elected in 2011 and 2015. He had been board president since January 2014.
