Wayne Ebner was born Oct. 17, 1939, in Davidson, Michigan. He joined the Marine Corps at age 17 out of Camp Pendleton.
He worked as a boiler engineer for Norris Industries for 22 years before becoming disabled due to a back injury.
The family moved to Idyllwild in 2000. They have enjoyed 16 wonderful years with many friends and family.
Mr. Ebner leaves behind his wife BJ, whom he lovingly referred to as “my bride,” four sons, four daughters and is reunited with one son the family lost in 1990; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Riverside National Cemetery.
