Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats were helping Cali and Joey feel at home.

Mr. Gray: Hey, Bobbie! Get in here. We have questions.

Bobbie: I’m here. What’s up?

Anabel & Tinkerbell

Mr. Gray: You tell me! Who are the new beautiful kitties, and where’s Cali?

Bobbie: Cali has gone with her forever mom and dad.  She’s so lucky. And the new girls? They are Anabel and Tinkerbell. They’re pretty, aren’t they?

Bobbie

Joey: What’s their story?

Bobbie: It’s kinda similar to yours, Joey. Their forever mom has gone into hospice, so they are kind of like orphans. They’re 7 years old and as sweet as can be.

Sadie: And they are stuck together like glue.

Bobbie: Got that right. They are very, very bonded and won’t ever be adopted apart.

Sadie: I think separating them would be cruel.

Joey: Will they come out and meet us?

Bobbie: Not yet. They just got here on Sunday and are still getting settled.

Sadie: Bobbie, I heard a dog in the office last week. What was up with that?

Bobbie: Oh, great story about that little dog! She came to ARF when her mom couldn’t keep her any longer. She was with a foster less than a week when some visitors to the Hill fell in love with her and made her part of their family.

Joey: Man, she was lucky!

Bobbie: And the neatest part is that she is now Canadian.  She’s living in Nova Scotia. Pretty, cool, eh?

Mr. Gray: That is pretty cool.

Bobbie: This might have been ARF’s first international adoption.

Mr. Gray: When are we finding our forever homes?

Bobbie: Soon, I bet, because all cat adoptions are half price right now!

Mr. Gray: Yippee!

Will the ARF cats be adopted at half price?  Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “Days of Our Nine Lives” each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy. 243 on Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M-F by calling 951-659-1122.
