I was shocked to earn of Idyllwild Water District’s “solution” to the $3,500 water bill.  Splitting it is like sentencing an innocent person to half a sentence when she/he deserves no sentence at all.

Why not total up every water bill these customers have had and divide the total by the number of months they’ve been customers and have them pay the average?

I am mystified as to why and how IWD would believe their “half-bill” to be a worthy solution.  I hope they find a better, equitable way.
