The Idyllwild Fire Protection District Commission held a special meeting Tuesday evening, Aug. 15, to complete its performance review of Chief Patrick Reitz.
After the session, President Rhonda Andrewson reported that the commission is very pleased and happy with Reitz’s performance.
In particular, she mentioned his involvement with the Idyllwild community, relationship with the commission and management of the department’s staff.
“He has been dedicated to fire service for nearly 30 years,” she added.
On Monday, Reitz expressed his appreciation for the support of the commission.
“I will continue to more forward with the business of the district and make improvements,” he added.
