I’m enclosing a check for Town Crier Membership in the amount of $500 in the name of “The Mills Family.”
The paper has held a special presence in my life. It was always on the table in my parents’ and grandparents’ cabins. The pages logged so many of the events in our family history, not the least of which was my hiking to Tahquitz Peak in 1968 (at the age of 8) with Lora Steere (at the age of 80). Yes, she handily beat me to the top.
