Just thought you’d be interested in this. In last week’s crossword (don’t know if someone local designs it) there is a major goof — at least for those of us “in the know.”

One of the clues is “adult beverage” and the answer was “scotch whiskEy.” Now, if you are a Scot, you know that whisky is always spelled without the “E.” It’s the Irish who spell whiskey with an “E.”
