Alfonso Altamirano, 34, of Poppet Flats, has been sentenced to 120 days in jail for repeated parole violations.

Altamirano was originally arrested on Feb. 9, 2016, for suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. He pleaded guilty two weeks later. Judge Jorge C. Hernandez sentenced him to the custody of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department for 335 days and three years on probation.

He also was required to enroll in a domestic-violence program. He was required to provide the court with proof of enrollment by the end of September 2016.

After Altamirano failed to appear for this court hearing, the judge revoked his probation. And a warrant was issued.

Since then, he has been sentenced to jail several times for failing to report to his probation officer and failing to enroll in the domestic-violence class.

In June, he was sentenced to more jail time for this violation. In December, he was sentenced to another 60 days for violating his post-release terms of probation.
