Sadie: Perfect, because here come some new family members!

Freda: (enters) Hi, everyone! I’m Freda, and I am really happy to meet all of you. I love other dogs and cats. I’m a Basenji-mix, about 6 years old.

Jax: And I’m Jax, a 2-year-old adorable terrier-mix, and I also like dogs and cats.

Waffles

Zoe: And so do I! I’m also a super cute terrier-mix, about 5

Daisy

years old.

Pepper: And we have yet another dog who likes cats and other dogs. Meet Daisy.

Daisy: Hi, there! If you can’t tell by looking at me, I’m a miniature apricot poodle, 6 years old.

Freda

Mr. Gray: And what about the kittens?

Panther: Four of the eight are now at ARF.  The others will

Pompom

be here later this week.

Indigo: So far we have Topsy, Pompom, Cricket, and Spanky.

Panther: They will be ready to go to their forever homes on Memorial Day. They are so darned cute!

Indigo: You know, a lot of ARF’s family members are finding forever families.

Mr. Gray: That’s right. They’re disappearing faster than a cold beer at the June 2 beer fest at the Nature Center!

Topsy

Jax: I hope I’m next.

Zoe: Me, too.

Sadie: We all deserve forever homes. Let’s hope when the humans come to ARF’s yard sale this weekend, they’ll take the time to meet us.

Freda: I bet when they do, they won’t leave empty handed, if you know what I mean.

Daisy: It will be love at first sight!!

Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “Days of Our Nine Lives” each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy. 243 on Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M-F by calling 951-659-1122.

Sadly, we say goodbye to Purdy, a female golden retriever, who will always be in our hearts.
