Riverside County has announced that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on cannabis regulation within the unincorporated areas of the county.

The public hearing has been scheduled before the Riverside County Planning Commission to consider an amendment to Riverside County Land Use Ordinance No. 348, proposing to establish regulations and development standards for cannabis activities within the unincorporated areas of the county.

This amendment also proposes to establish permitting and operational requirements for cannabis activities. This public hearing is at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the Riverside County Administrative Center.
