July 17 date for bond measure decision

On June 19, the Hemet Unified School District Board of Trustees adopted the proposed budget for fiscal year 2018-19, and the Local Control and Accountability Plan. Both were presented to the board at the June 5 public hearings.

“Both the budget and the LCAP plan were passed without modifications,” said Idyllwild Trustee Vic Scavarda.

At its July 17 meeting, the board will decide whether to pursue a bond measure this fall on the general election ballot, according to Vince Christakos, assistant superintendent for Business Services.
