On Friday, April 20, dozens of Idyllwild Arts Academy students walked from the campus to Village Center in Idyllwild in support of gun control on the 19th anniversary of the Columbine school shooting. Here they are passing Idyllwild School, where students were in front of the school also participating in the national “walk-out.”
On Saturday, April 28, a hiker without gear or a sleeping bag required rescue near Wellman Divide and the Pacific Crest Trail in the Idyllwild area. He had apparently gotten off the trail.
