According to Lt. Zachary Hall of the Riverside County Sheriff's Hemet Station, four arrests were made during the Cranston Fire evacuation last week.

Deputies stopped a suspicious vehicle, which appeared to be casing the Idyllwild area. The driver had a warrant for his arrest. The driver was booked at the Smith Correctional Facility for violation of probation/warrant.

A pedestrian check and search of a suspicious person revealed a controlled substance and paraphernalia. The subject was booked at the Smith Correctional Facility.

A call for service was made where a subject was physical with his girlfriend. He was booked at the Smith Correctional Facility for domestic violence.

A pickup truck driven by an adult male ran the California Highway Patrol check point at Highway 243 and Pine Cove Drive, and attempted to strike the CHP officer. The driver was arrested in the 53000 block of Pine Crest Avenue.
