Tex

Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats chatted with Zeus and Bear.

Panther: Where is Freda? Has anyone seen her?

Tex: You didn’t hear? Freda has found her forever family!

Panther: Wow. How did I miss that? What great news.

Pepper: Since Tex is here, let’s give her the floor for a moment, OK?

Tex: Thank you, Pepper. I was at the ARF House last Saturday for the unveiling of the Mayor Max deer. It was so

Zeus

much fun.  I got to meet lots of people.

Sadie: I watched from the cattery window.  You really like people, don’t you?

Tex: I really do. I would rather not be around small dogs or small animals, though. I just get the urge to chase them.

Panther

Indy: What about bigger dogs?

Tex: They’re OK but to be honest, I might like a family all to myself.

Indy: What would you do with a family all to yourself?

Tex: Well, I hope I’d become a great hiking or jogging companion. I have lots of energy to burn.

Panther: I heard your foster talking, and she said you climb into her bed at night and rest your head on her shoulder.

Tex: Guilty as charged!  I like to snuggle.

Pepper

Panther: As do I. Nothing is better than climbing into a human’s lap.

Tex: I think I am a little too large for a lap, but I’m good at cuddling next to a person. I’ll be such a great best friend!

Pepper: I hope a human realizes this very soon. You deserve a forever family of your own.
