According to California Highway Patrol Public Information Darren Meyer, there was one solo non-injury crash last week.

AT 4:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, Sean Alexander, 33, of Hemet, was driving his 1991 Chevy pick-up truck westbound on Highway 74 west of McCall Park Road in Mountain Center, when he made an unsafe turning movement.

The vehicle then collided with a metal guard rail, causing damage to 50 feet of the guard rail and moderate damage to Alexander’s truck. Alexander was injured the collision, and his vehicle was towed to Idyllwild Garage.
