Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats and dog Tex celebrated the adoption of two kittens and welcomed three more.

Panther: Is there a revolving door on this place?

Tinkerbell

Tex: Why? What’s going on?

Panther: Two of the three new kittens were adopted on Saturday. Peter Pan and Wendy were adopted together! But that leaves poor Tinkerbell. She really misses them.

Tex: I understand. Maybe someone will adopt her this week and give her all the love and attention she needs.

Bear: And we got a new adult cat this weekend. I’ve seen her in the ARF transition room. I think she isn’t so happy right now.

Panther: She is probably confused, but the ARF angels will take such good care of her. Maybe she will want to be our friend very soon.

Tex: I heard she likes dogs and was living with one. What’s her name?

Panther

Tinkerbell: Her name is Mitzy, and right now she is not cooperating for any photographer.

Pepper: To be expected.

Tinkerbell: I bet we will get a great photo soon. What is her story?

Tex: Her guardian is dealing with health issues and could no longer care for her. Mitzy is 12 years old and really liked her dog brother, but was never with any other cats.

Zeus: Maybe she will want to be the only cat in a new forever home.

Panther: I bet she would love a lap to keep warm this winter.

Tinkerbell: Lots of us would! I would keep a lap warm all winter and beyond.

Tex

Indigo: As would I and just about every cat here.
