As of Tuesday, Oct 16, the Idyllwild Transfer Station returned to its normal operating schedule. The Transfer Station will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday to Monday.
Riverside County has told CR&R to return to its normal schedule since there has been very little use of the facility on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, according to Mark Moreau of CR&R.
Following the Cranston Fire, the station was opened seven days a week to help residents dispose of fire debris and food spoiled from the power outage during the fire.
“There has hardly been any debris,” Moreau said.
