So far, renewals and new memberships total 228, which is 35 percent of our first-year Charter Memberships, and we’re only 17 percent into our second year. Remember, you readers are keeping a community newspaper serving our community; without you all, the paper couldn’t carry on. We now have more active Memberships than in our Charter year.
But we still need advertising, the traditional mainstay of community newspapers. Business Members now total 23, and we have 12 nonprofit and six public-agency members, too.
Please remember that when you choose to advertise in the Town Crier newspaper and its special publications — “Explore Idyllwild Directory/Guide,” “Explore Idyllwild Map” and “Idyllwild Phone Book” — you aren’t just advertising, you are also keeping your community newspaper serving your community. No other form of advertising has that benefit.
Advertising with the Town Crier is not just advertising for advertising’s sake; its advertising that keeps your local newspaper working to serve us all.
