Mountain Center Café’s Pearson family is extending a hand to another local family who recently lost their 15-year-old daughter in a traffic crash.
Lilah Whitney lost her life in a traffic crash Sunday afternoon in Idyllwild when she was a passenger with both of her brothers in a vehicle that hit a rock. The brothers were injured but are recovering.
The fundraiser for the Whitney family is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at the café. Cost for the fundraiser dinner is $15 for adults and $8 for kids. It includes spaghetti, salad, rolls, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage. Alcoholic beverages will not be served that evening, said Emily Pearson.
All proceeds will be given to the Noah and Danielle Whitney family.
