Craig Finne, 61, was last heard from on June 21, 2018, and was reported missing July 15, 2018, in this area.
He is a white male, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair.
Finne is transient and typically lived out of his vehicle, which was found July 22 at the Tool Box Springs Campground in Garner Valley.
Finne has been known to stay with his mother at the Brookdale Mirage Inn in Rancho Mirage, behind the Walmart in Palm Desert, and with unknown friends in Orange County.
Finne is an avid hiker and camper. The Tool Box Springs Campground, where his vehicle was located, is in the area of the Cranston Fire, which began on July 25 and burned 13,139 acres.
