Fire officials have scheduled a community meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Idyllwild Nature Center. Officials from various fire agencies will be present to discuss their plans for several prescribed burns on the Hill during the winter.
The areas where the burns will occur are Stone Creek, Pine Cove, Thomas Mountain and Potrero, in the Piñyon area.
Federal representatives from the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management will be present as well as officials from Cal Fire and California State Parks
