Work on Highway 243 for Friday will limit traffic to one lane

            The portion of Highway 243 between Saunders Meadow Road and the Forest Service’s Keenwild Station will be limited to one lane on Friday, Dec. 21.

             Cal Trans will be doing emergency guardrail repairs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to its press release.

             For the rest of the holiday period, Cal Trans promises there will be a moratorium on highway work, from Thursday, Dec. 20 through Thursday, Jan. 3, with the the above exception.
