One crash and a suspected driving under the influence arrest occurred over the last week on Hill holiday roads.
At 6:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, Joel Villanueva, 21, of Palm Springs, was driving a gray 2001 Ford Windstar westbound on Highway 74 near mile marker 84.75 when he made an unsafe turning movement causing his vehicle to drive off the pavement and overturn.
Villanueva had one passenger, Angela Leopard, 45, of La Quinta. Neither was injured in the crash. Villanueva was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The vehicle was towed by Valley Auto in Anza.
