Editor:
If we do not challenge and repudiate the perception that requesting and granting of sexual favors is a legitimate ticket to admission to a life in public service, we do a great disservice to those who may desire to participate in the political life of our state and national governments in the future.
I am especially concerned for our young people. What do we tell them? If desire, a steady moral compass and merit don’t suffice, then what?
