Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF family members discussed the advantages to having a pet in the home.
Thomas: Another quiet weekend.
Mr. Gray: Yes, but we have a potential adoption happening. Tommy the dog is on a trial adoption.
Thomas: Let’s all hope it works out!
George: I would love to be on a trial adoption. I know I’d convince any human to hang onto me.
Paddy: I’m certain I would. I am so, so friendly. I just love being in a human’s lap.
Bear: No kidding. You take advantage of anyone’s taking a seat, even at the computer. I prefer to play coy.
Thomas: And so do I, but I’m pretty darned friendly.
Zeus: I think my stunning white coat and charming personality would win over a human who took me on a trial adoption.
Sadie: Most likely. This morning I was weaving in and out of an ARF volunteer’s legs while she was cleaning the cattery. She said she couldn’t understand why I am still here.
Heavenly Whiskers: I heard her. She said to you that you’d be a great family member.
Sadie: And she took a few minutes to give me some love and attention.
George: That’s all any of us really want.
Pepper: You know, when I step back and look at all of us, I have to say there is a cat for any and every human. Every color, size and personality, you know.
Mr. Gray: Yeah! Look at me. I have such a stunning powder gray coat, and my little white feet are adorable!
George: And, Mr. Gray, you are so modest!
