Musician spotlight series kicks off May 2 at winery
Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery has teamed up with Idyllwild Storytellers to present a new music series.
Starting May 2, Middle Ridge will be hosting a Musician Spotlight Series every Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The series will feature both emerging and established musicians. Emerging artists will have the opportunity to display their talent, and established musicians will enjoy trying out new material and new collaborations.
Each set will be 45 to 75 minutes in length. Acts will rotate throughout the evening and change each week, making it a great way for audiences to experience new and innovative presentations from both musicians they know and those they will want to get to know.
As an added bonus for musicians, Middle Ridge’s new Bose PA system provides them the ability to simply plug and play and, at the same time, gives the audience a first-rate listening experience.
Idyllwild and its surrounding areas are blessed with a wealth of talented musicians, and the Spotlight Series will be focused on providing them a forum to explore, innovate and interact.
More than 12 musicians are lined up and ready to go for May:
• May 2 — Don Reed and students from Idyllwild Arts Academy
• May 9 — Brian Tracy with Ann and Peter Kindfield, and Jac Jacaruso
• May 16 — Don Reed and Brad Rechtfertig
• May 23 — Erik Lingren, Jeff Hixon and Terry Jo
• May 30 — Jen Hajj, Brian Tracy, Anne Finch and Sandii Castleberry
