Michael Kellner, 26, and James McMahon, 22, both of Idyllwild, were arrested for a series of burglaries. Kellner was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the Marian View Drive/Rainbow Lane area. McMahon was arrested at 2:15 p.m. the next day on San Jacinto Road.

Both men were charged with burglary and possession of stolen property. McMahon was also charged with grand theft using a firearm, and using personal identity of another person to obtain credit. All of these are felony charges.

A felony settlement conference for both men is scheduled for June 10.

Both are in custody. McMahon’s bail was set at $70,000 and Kellner’s bail is $30,000

Neither court records nor the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department have been available to confirm if either man was allegedly responsible for the recent break-ins in Idyllwild.
