Anza Municipal Advisory Council needs members. Riverside County 3rd District Supervisor Chuck Washington is seeking applicants to serve on the council, which makes recommendations on community issues in the Anza area.
Council members are appointed by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and serve in an advisory capacity. The council discusses and provides recommendations on a variety of issues such as public health, public works, safety and land-use planning.
Anza MAC meets at 7 p.m. every other month on the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November. The meetings are located at the Anza Community Hall at 56630 Highway 371. The next meeting is July 10.
Anza residents willing to share their time and expertise are encouraged to apply. Applications are available at http://rivcodistrict3.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/BCC-Application-Fillable002-1.pdf and are due by June 30.
