Editor:
I recently took a drive up to Idyllwild. I parked my car and walked around to see the sights. After a while, I realized I wasn’t seeing something. There were no chargers for electric cars.
I am an electric car driver, so I am usually on the lookout for chargers.
I did not see any in Idyllwild, and thought, there has to be some, but I’m just not seeing them.
As luck would have it, I did not need to charge my car that day because going home is 99% downhill.
But it did get me wondering, how many people in electric cars do not drive up to Idyllwild because there’s no place to charge an electric car?
I would think a town as hip and happening as Idyllwild would have lots of chargers for electric cars.
Hopefully, somebody will respond to this letter and tell me about all of the electric vehicle chargers that actually do exist in Idyllwild.
I would surely visit Idyllwild a lot more if I could easily plug in my electric car and charge it up. And I would pass along and publish that information so that lots of other electric car drivers would know that they can easily visit Idyllwild and have plenty of places to charge up their electric car.
