Tara Sechrest: “The enrollment landscape at Idyllwild Arts”

The Associates of the Idyllwild Arts Foundation’s Spotlight on Leadership next presentation is at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.
In the Idyllwild Arts campus’ Fireside Room in the Nelson Dining Hall — a comfortable setting — Tara Sechrest, vice president of enrollment management and strategic partnerships at Idyllwild Arts, will share her story. The series is open to all at no charge.
Tara will speak about: the current student body at Idyllwild Arts, enrollment trends, key talking points for Idyllwild Arts, the Associates as ambassadors, outreach efforts, and campus events and volunteer opportunities.
The Spotlight on Leadership series happens monthly with leaders from Idyllwild Arts and our community.
Tara attended the Idyllwild Arts Academy as an Interdisciplinary Arts major for four years, graduating in 1994. In 1998, Tara graduated with honors from University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s in psychology and an emphasis in dance. She received her master’s in education and pupil personnel services credential from the University of Redlands in 2005 and is a member of the Pi Lambda Theta honor society. Tara has worked for the educational tour and airline industries in Boston and Austin, and has had her own massage therapy business. She has traveled extensively throughout the world, including Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Central America, the South Pacific, Africa and North America. Tara has worked in the Admission Office at Idyllwild Arts Academy since 2005.
