Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery is located in the heart of the mountain arts community and is once again introducing a new art exhibit in its 4,000 square foot gallery. Appropriately titled “The Idyllwild Collection: Spellbound,” the exhibit provides the artists an opportunity to fascinate, enthrall, entrance, bewitch and mesmerize with their creations.

With over 200 beautiful works of art from 30 of Southern California’s most talented artists, the exhibit invites viewers to bathe in the magical works of the artists as they explore the colors, themes, textures and mediums that keep them spellbound.

“They say the forest is healing, and there is magic and grounding amongst the trees,” said Melody Johnston, who along with her husband and winemaker Chris Johnston, opened Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery to create a space where their love of wine and love of art could come together.

“This newest exhibit celebrates that magic by transporting you, if only for a moment, to a place of pure imagination,” continued Johnston.  “Everyone can use a good dose of forest bathing and art to disconnect, destress and calm the mind a bit. As an extra treat, we will be offering 10% off all art for this one day [Nov. 2] only!”

With exhibits that rotate every three months, new artists and works are featured regularly in the tasting gallery. Six artists are brand new to the venue or will be showing a new medium with this exhibit including photographer Angie Agostino, watercolorist Kathy Crabbe, mixed-media artist Adeola Davies-Aiyeloja, acrylic painter Sharye Cressler, watercolorist Charlotte Lerner, and mixed-media painter Colette Passini.

Middle Ridge’s popular reception is open to the public from noon–9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. Visitors will have the opportunity to sip, talk and walk through the tasting gallery browsing two floors filled with beautiful art.

In addition to award-winning wine and a visual feast of art, the Taylor Made Tapestry duo of Laree and Bryan Goodhead will take guests on a tour of the great music created by James Taylor and Carole King along with favorites from Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dillon and Joan Baez from 3–7 p.m. that day.
