The Idyllwild Community Center (ICC), which distributes pantry boxes on the first Tuesday of each month outside of Town Hall, will be doing an extra mid-month distribution on Tuesday, May 19.

The program, which ICC operates in partnership with Feed America, Inc., provides boxes of groceries for pickup to families and individuals that are food insecure.

During this financially trying time, ICC has committed to increasing its distribution, subject to the availability of food supplies.

ICC did a mid-month distribution in April and may also do one in June. Those interested in obtaining groceries should line up in their cars (wearing masks, please) on the west side of River Road. Distribution will occur on Cedar Street.

Grocery boxes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and supplies are limited. The hours for pickup are between 10 a.m. and noon.
