A solo-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 74 last week, according to California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Matt Napier.

On June 23 at 2 p.m. Pepper Louise Cramar, 57 of Mountain Center, was driving a gray 2011 Volkswagen Jetta east on Highway 74 west of Springcrest Drive at a stated speed of 45-55 mph when, for unknown reason, she lost control while negotiating a left curve.

Cramar drifted off to the right side of the roadway, collided with the dirt mountain side, and overturned coming to a stop on her wheels blocking the westbound lane.

Cramar complained of pain but was not transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Her vehicle was towed by Valley Auto.
