Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats talked about their kittens and puppies.
Pepper: Things are getting busy at ARF.
Lulu: Yea. Lots of coming and going of new dogs and cats.
Pepper: The dogs come and go so fast that folks who want a new member of the family should call ARF and let them know what they’re looking for. They will get the first call when a new dog comes in.
Whiskers: What is amazing is how busy it is here, even with the pandemic.
Pepper: True, and the ARF board has once again closed the ARF House except for those who call and make an appointment. And the nail trim and Sadie’s clinics are still operating, safely of course.
Whiskers: Have all the kittens been spoken for?
Pepper: Almost. There are just a few that don’t have families yet and they are only four weeks old!
Lulu: So, people who want to adopt a kitten should make an appointment soon to meet them.
Pepper: That’s right, and then they may submit an application and a deposit. They’ll be ready for their forever homes next month.
Lulu: Got it! Those little kittens are getting so cute.
Pepper: True, but we adult cats are cute, too! As a matter of fact, ARF has two mama cats who are new.
Lulu: I think one is saying goodbye to her litter this week as they all go to their forever homes. Is mama ready to be adopted? She is! And the mama of the younger litter will be ready for a forever home next month.
Pepper: And both mamas are so very friendly. One is a gorgeous Calico!
Lulu: Hopefully, they will be adopted as quickly as the kittens have been.
