Last week in “Days of Our Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats met the new ARF dog Puggy.
Holly: Hey everyone, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want first?
Willow: Surprise us.
Holly: Puggy the dog was adopted this last weekend. He went with a forever family that already has one ARF dog. So now, Puggy has a sister!
Pepper: That is good news.
Holly: And there is more good news. Two of my remaining three kittens were adopted. The bad news? That leaves only one and she is a fluffy, stunning kitten. My kittens will go to their forever homes this Saturday. I truly hope all of them have homes by then.
Willow: I have good news, too! My one baby that was returned because of allergies in the house was adopted almost immediately. I am so happy for her.
Pepper: Now that leaves us adult cats. Willow and Holly, you are so very friendly. I cannot imagine you will be here for very long.
Willow: And Pepper, you should be in a forever home, too.
Holly: Oh heck. All of us should have homes for the holidays and forever.
Willow: Out of curiosity, what are your holiday hopes and wishes?
Pepper: I hope that all dogs and cats get a visit from Santa Paws.
Holly: And what would you like for Santa Paws to leave them?
Lulu: I hope that Santa Paws leaves them lots of love, petting and a warm home.
Holly: Yes, a warm and secure home forever!
Pepper: Or at the very least, a safe place in a loving rescue or shelter.
Lulu: Right. Kind of like we have here at ARF.
