Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats heard news about adoptions.
Holly: Puppies! ARF has puppies!
Willow: What a perfect way to welcome 2021, with a puppy.
Holly: They will be ready to go to their forever homes Dec. 31 and their mama is also looking for a forever home.
Pepper: How can people meet them and learn more?
Holly: This Saturday they will be here with Molly, their mama. People should make appointments right away to meet them and submit applications.
Willow: They absolutely must have an appointment to meet the two male and two female pups.
Pepper: And I’ve heard that the mama is such a sweet, affectionate lady.
Willow: So, we have puppies. All kittens have homes. And of course, there’s us.
Holly: Willow, you and I have done our jobs raising kittens.
Willow: We truly have and now we need forever homes.
Pepper: And don’t forget about us! The rest of the adult cats here have the same Christmas wish.
Holly: You know, pets in the home do so much to help humans during this terrible pandemic.
Lulu: We do! We lower blood pressure and promote a loving calm.
Holly: To be honest, I’m not 100% certain that puppies will promote “calm.”
Pepper: Maybe not Holly but they will most certainly provide lots and lots of love and laughter!
Lulu: And can’t everyone use a bit of that right now?
