Idyllwild School made the honor roll
Educational Results Partnership (ERP), a nonprofit, designated Idyllwild School to the State Honor Roll for the 2019/20 school year. It was one of 2,568 schools along with Hemet Unified School District’s Cottonwood School and Western Center Academy.
The designation is based on the school’s 2018/19 data.
“On behalf of Educational Results Partnership (ERP), I am writing to congratulate your school community,” wrote James S. Lanich, Ph.D., president and CEO of ERP, in an email to Idyllwild School Principal Matt Kraemer. “After an extensive analysis of student data for every public school in California, Idyllwild Elementary was a clear leader in getting students to grade-level and beyond and has been named to the 2019/20 Honor Roll. Congratulations!”
ERP uses the following factors:
• Evidence-based instructional practices
• A defined system-wide mission of college and career readiness for all students
• An investment in human capital
• Maintenance of data and assessment systems to monitor school and student performance.
• Resources and guidance to support schools’ efforts in preparing all students for college and career.
Idyllwild School received the following scores: 61% of the 220 students tested met or exceeded the standard in English. Forty-eight percent of 222 students met or exceeded the standard for math.
Cottonwood School received the following scores: 51% of the 133 students tested met or exceeded the standard in English. Forty-three percent of 133 students met or exceeded the standard for math.
Western Center Academy received the following scores: 91% of the 451 students tested met or exceeded the standard in English. Seventy-six percent of 450 students met or exceeded the standard for math.
