Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats welcomed the “spicy” litter of kittens.
Lulu: The remaining two kittens of our original litter have been adopted.
Stevie: Are you talking about Ike and Charlotte?
Lulu: That’s right.
Pepper: This is good news, but we have barely gotten to know so many dogs and cats before they are adopted.
Whiskers: I guess that is a good-news-bad-news situation.
Pepper: Mostly good news.
Stevie: How are the new kittens getting along?
Pepper: They are feeling right at home.
Whiskers: But a forever home would be much nicer.
Lulu: Absolutely! A human family to love and care for each is the best.
Pepper: Did you know that Anise of the “spicy” litter has been adopted?
Apricot: I hadn’t heard that. What great news! So that leaves Saffron, Tonka, and Clover.
Cinnamon: And don’t forget about Apricot and me! We are super friendly cats, and we are good looking, if I must say so myself.
Whiskers: You really have unusual markings on that beautiful orange coat.
Cinnamon: Thanks. And Apricot is really handsome, too.
Apricot: Aw, shucks. Thank you.
Stevie: I’ve heard the ARF humans talking about me, saying how friendly I am.
Cinnamon: This is a great time for humans to visit all of us. There is plenty of love to go around.
