PCPOA and PCWD sponsor community clean up
The Pine Cove Property Owners Association and Pine Cove Water District have teamed up to create an opportunity for Pine Cove residents to get rid of trash and unsightly clutter.
A large trash bin will be located at the water district’s Dutch Flat Facility at 25384 Franklin Dr., just off Highway 243. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.
Pine Cove residents are encouraged to bring their trash to the Dutch Flat location. Proof of residency, such as water or electric bill, is required. No tires, hazardous materials or large appliances will be accepted.
Hazardous materials can be taken directly to the Hazardous Waste Station at the County Road Yard; 25780 Johnson Rd., next to the fire station, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.
Volunteers will provide free curbside pick up by appointment. Call Andy at (505) 603-3672 during the clean up event. Pick up will be scheduled on a first call-first served basis until 4 p.m.
