The Town Crier has Members from Honolulu, Hawaii to Kennebunkport, Maine, and many states between. As a Town Crier Member in the U.S., your newspaper will be mailed to you directly — about 400 Town Crier newspapers are mailed to off-the-Hill destinations each week. Members in Canada read their Town Crier online, which U.S. members can do as well.
If you have an Idyllwild or Mountain Center mailbox, you get your Town Criers on Wednesdays — unless Monday is a TC holiday, in which case you’ll get your paper on Thursday. If you are an off-the-Hill Member, you are part of our extended Hill community, and your TCs will leave the Idyllwild post office on Wednesdays, also. If you read it online, you get hour paper earlier in your inbox.
A really terrific Membership benefit is a six-month discount card applicable toward two meals per day at the Red Kettle restaurant here in downtown Idyllwild, courtesy of Red Kettle owners Bruce Ross and Eileen Gallo-Ross. Town Crier Members also receive a nice-looking Membership window decal for your home or auto. But the greatest gift you’ll receive is the knowledge that you are playing an important role in keeping a real newspaper serving our Hill community.
So, visitors, please join us as Town Crier Members and become a part of our nationwide, extended-Hill community. Thank you.
