Patrick Comstock, 38, of Rockway Beach, New York, was the man who fell to his death from the South Ridge Trail Sunday. Riverside County Fire and Sheriff's Aviation Unit were involved in a remote rescue reported at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, off of the South Ridge Trail.
A hiker fell and died at the scene. He was declared dead at 3:41 p.m., according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
