Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats celebrated Lulu’s adoption.
Phil: I am so impressed with all of the prize sponsors for the Pets of the Year competition.
Harley: The list and prize value keeps growing!
Phil: So in addition to meeting us and maybe adopting, humans should participate in the fund raiser.
Harley: The fact the Lulu was just adopted gives me hope.
Whiskers: Hope that someone will recognize how wonderful we are.
Pepper: People should see how friendly I am.
Harley: And I will entertain all family members and guests. I just love humans.
Don: Phil and I are super friendly, welcoming all people who visit.
Phil: We’d be the same in any home. We’d be waiting for visitors.
Paisley: I think I would, too. But give me my own human, with a lap, and I’d be happy.
Don: I think Phil and I would be better with family members who like to play. That would be amazing.
Harley: As long as the people have food for me, I’d be satisfied. I just love to eat!
Lola: And I am strikingly beautiful. Afterall, I’m a calico.
Pepper: Finally, cats here who aren’t tuxedos. Hurray! Now it’s just me.
Lola: True, but we tabbies are just as lovely.
Harley: What about us orange cats? I’m representing!
Paisley: So ARF has tabbies, calicos, tuxedos, and orange cats.
Whiskers: A cat for everyone!
Lola: But looks aren’t everything. Our personalities are so individual.
Harley: Just as they are for humans.
Whiskers: Again, a cat for everyone!
