Idyllwild Community Fund announces $23,200 in grant awards
The Idyllwild Community Fund (ICF) announces its 2022 grant award recipients — a diverse cross-section of community programs run by local nonprofits that:
• Nurture the arts
• Foster educational opportunities
• Provide for the well-being of those in need
• Contribute to the vibrancy of Idyllwild mountain communities
The ICF Advisory Committee of local residents determines the recipients through online applications, and organizations have one calendar year to fulfill their program objectives. This year, ICF was fortunate to allocate $23,200 in grants across nine organizations. The 2022 grant recipients are:
• Art Alliance of Idyllwild
• Idyllwild Community Center
• Idyllwild Help Center
• Idyllwild Scholarship Fund
• Idyllwild School Booster Club
• Living Free Animal Sanctuary
• Mountain Communities Mutual Aid
• Soroptimist International of Idyllwild
• Spirit Mountain Retreat Center
Programs and services local to mountain communities continue to provide much-needed support and enrichment to citizens and overall quality of life, and ICF participates through modest, yet impactful grants made possible through endowment interest and year-round fundraising efforts on behalf of the volunteer Advisory Committee, currently recruiting for new members.
