Brendan Steele opens his 13th consecutive season on the PGA Tour Thursday of this week in the $8 million Fortinet Championship on the Silverado Resort and Spa North Course in Napa.
The Idyllwild native has won this tournament two years consecutively, in 2016 and 2017, when it was named the Safeway Open.
The 39-year-old finished the last season 61st in the PGA Tour’s FedExCup Standings and currently is 104th on the Official World Golf Ranking.
Brendan’s tee times were not available by press time.
