Concert honors Jazz in the Pines founders

The Associates of the Idyllwild Arts Foundation (IAF) will present the Founders’ Concert Saturday, July 8, at the Harvey House B&B, 54420 South Circle Dr. This benefit performance will honor the original founders of Jazz in the Pines: Lin Carlson, Dr. Marshall Hawkins and Barbara Wood. The Yve Evans Quartet, featuring Yve Evans and Dr. Marshall Hawkins, will entertain us at the outdoor.
The performance begins at 12:30 p.m. with breakfast snacks and mimosas. The hourlong performance is part of this year’s Jazz in the Pines Festival and Student Clinic. Proceeds from ticket purchases will be donated to the Scholarship Fund of Idyllwild Arts. The Associates are a California 501©3 nonprofit organization.
