Brian Parnell’s Audiowild continues to book surprising talent in a tiny space. Friday, July 21, singer Morgan Myles will include Idyllwild in a national barnstorming tour. Myles appears at Buffalo Bill’s Resort and Casino in Primm, Nevada the next night. Other upcoming shows at Audiowild cover quite the range, from Punk Rock Night to Paul Carman’s Forbits.

In 2020, Myles won Artist and Record of the Year for the Nashville Industry Music Awards for her debut album “Therapy” and was well reviewed in Rolling Stone, Billboard and American Songwriter. Myles competed on season 22 of NBC’s “The Voice.” She finished in the top three of the competition and her rendition of “Hallelujah” has received over 30 million views. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut in January.
She also is the national ambassador for the Glioblastoma Foundation, working to increase awareness of this type of brain cancer that claimed her grandfather and a cousin. Her bio notes that “her songs are shaped from her many years as a nanny to a mother diagnosed with ALS.”
Myles’ manager told the Crier the show will be with a full band. Parnell added, “I think it’s pretty cool that the word is finally getting out to agents who book nationally.”
Tickets are being offered for General Admission (GA) and VIP. The VIP ticket provides admission at 7 p.m. through a separate entrance and will include a meet-and-greet and a private acoustic solo performance. The GA door opens at 8 p.m.
Parnell added, “VIP will get a guaranteed seat, GA is standing room.” The show is “not sold out yet but sales are picking up.” The performance also can be viewed on livestream.
