The soccer scores for last Thursday’s games were:
• Ages 4-6: The Idyllwild Garage Bobcats achieved
their third win in as many weeks against the Pino Tree
Service Little Big Feet with a final score of 4-0. Three of
those goals were scored by Torin Puckett and one was
scored by Max Miller. Madalyn Foye and Esme Mapel
made great defensive plays to stop the Little Big Feet in
their tracks. Notable also were defensive moves by Little
Big Feet players Matthew Smith, Luke Smith and
Danna Gonzalez.

• Ages 7-9: Aiden Martin and Taylynn White
scored 2 goals and 1 goal, respectively, to lead the
Idyllwild Heating & Cooling Hot Cheetos to their
fourth win in as many weeks with a final score of 3-1.
Iker Antonio Orella scored the single goal for the Ferro
Yellow Jackets. Multiple goal attempts by the Hot Cheetos
were blocked by Yellow Jacket Loki Chavez and
team member Abigail Roman made several impressive
defensive moves as well.

• Ages 10-14: The stiff competition between the
Village Market Monkeys and the Idyllwild Brewpub
Smokey Bears continues, with week four ending in another
2-2 tie! Jason Maldonado of the Monkeys scored
both of their goals, and Carter Marich and Ryder Winkle
scored the goals for the Smokey Bears. Jeremiah
James and Maisy Taylor were instrumental in keeping
the Monkeys’ defense strong, while Jaxx Foye and
Chance Griffin of the Smokey Bears stopped the Monkeys
from several attempted goals.

• Ages 4-5: The Canopy Toys Dino Strikers played
against the Idyllwild Ice Cream Dragonflies. Adam
Eversole played a great game for the Dino Stirkers with
great team play and dribbling the ball very well. Evie
Rogers played a very good all-around game for the
Dragonflies.
• Ages 6-9: The Speakeasy Book Market Gray
Wolves hosted the La Casita Black Venom. Ryker
Brown was tenacious and fierce on offense scoring
a nice goal for the Gray Wolves as the Gray Wolves
scored the first 2 goals of the game. However, Lill Davila
passed the ball very well for the Black Venom as they
scored the next 5 out of 6 goals beating the Gray Wolves
5-3.

• Ages 10-13: The Idyllwild Backhoe Miami Mess
battled the Idyllwild Town Real Estate Pythons in a very
intense and exciting game. Cloe Kenyon played great
for the Miami Mess by blocking shots and clearing the
ball from the goal. Lunaye Giampa made some good
passes and Makai Githaiga scored a goal on his birthday
for the Pythons, but it wasn’t quite enough as the
Miami Mess prevailed with a 6-4 win over the Pythons
